Kevuru Games at Devcom Developer Conference in Cologne

| |

Devcom is Europe’s largest game developer conference, held alongside Gamescom in Cologne. It focuses on the craft of game creation — from art direction to engine technology — making it an essential meeting point for Kevuru Games and its clients.

About DevCom Cologne

DevCom is one of Europe’s largest community-driven industry conferences for game developers, along with others like Gamescom. Established in 2017, the event has evolved into an experience dedicated to game development, networking, and community building.

The DevCom GmbH-organized event draws game enthusiasts and developers from all over the world. In 2019, a staggering 3,000 attendees, 65% of them game developers, gathered in Cologne, Germany. The event featured captivating talks, panels, round tables, workshops, and master classes delivered by over 140 industry professionals.

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, DevCom successfully adapted by hosting the Digital Developer Conference in 2020 and 2021. Then again, in 2022, a triumphant offline return to Cologne happened with the streaming of all the events online. The 2023 DevCom Developer Conference will become a place for high-quality talks, panels, fireside chats, and workshops. In addition, there will be many industry experts across (currently) 12 live stages who will share the industry’s latest updates.

The sessions at DevCom Cologne run deeper into craft than most industry conferences. Alongside the fireside chats and publisher panels, a solid chunk of the program is dedicated to hands-on talks on art pipelines, outsourcing workflows, and production processes, the kind of detail that matters more to a game art studio in Europe than to a marketing team. That’s what makes this game development conference in Cologne worth the trip for an outsourcing partner specifically: it’s less about hype and more about how games actually get made, staffed, and shipped, which is exactly the conversation an external development team wants to be part of.
